Description

U.S. Army Uniform, 8469a-n - Gas Mark Carrier - Size - 11 " W x 10 " H x 2 3/4 " D with a handle 2 " W x about 44 " L. Material - textile, metal. Olive green canvas bag with metal snaps & hooks. Black ink number stamped on front "_57573" & handwritten "ED. Krause". Inside was found a gas mask #8459N & anti-dimming stick #8469o. Condition - dirty.

Waseca County Military - WWI. Minnie Krause Estate. Complete uniform with helmet, boots, belt, money belt & gas mask. Worn by Edward Otto Krause in WWI.
