Purple and Red Velvet Vestment. Material: textile, metal. Size: 46" L. Description: purple and red velvet with gold and silver metallic trim, embroidery, sequins, fringe and beading - right side embroidered with P.C.P. (Past Chief Patriarch) - left side embroidered with P.G. (Past Grand) - labeled on the back: "The Henderson Ames Military and Society Goods Kalamazoo, Mich."

Context

Waseca organization: Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.), a secret society for the mutual aid and benefit of the members, originated in England in the 18th Century. Odd Fellows ceremonial collar of Past Grand or Past Grand Patriarch, (Encampment and Auxiliary) Waseca Comee Lodge #25.
