Description

Henderson Label White Foundation Garment. Material: textile and metal. Size: 19" W. across top, 21" W. around lower edge, 11" W. across waistline x 16" L. Description: white cotton foundation garment stops below the bust. Four garters, 1 1/4" W. x 10" L., extend from bottom edge with each garter equipped with metal slide clasp buckles for adjusting length. garment is encircled with fifteen 17" L. metal stays; front busk closure. Back closure with 25 sets of lacing eyelets. Sides and lower front also have lace closures for cinching. Manufactured by "Henderson - The Quality Corset - Style 848". This label and style number date to 1909.
