Material: earthenware. Size: 16 1/2" H. x 15 1/2" diameter. Description: Red Wing crock - zinc glaze - blue "10" on side - patent date stamped in blue (date for the handle): "Dec 21st, 1915" - on bottom: "10 Gallon Crock Augusta Ristau."

Context

Used by Augusta Minske Ristau, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. August Minske, pioneers of Waseca County. Bought by Otto Frederick at auction & donated to WCHS.
