Description

Material: textile. Size: (a) 38" x 44". (b) 38" x 48 3/4". Description: white cotton - lace mesh - vertical filet lace design of basketed flowers and scrolls - crocheted scalloped braid border. Both (a) and (b) are the top portions of panels which have been cut off and left unhemmed.

Context

These panels are typical of curtains hung in many homes from 1900 to 1930s.All the articles given under the donor Deichen estate are through the generosity of Howard Deichen when he was settling his parents' estate.
