Material: wood, metal, textile. Size: 9" W. x 23 1/2" L. Description: wood platform - four metal stationary diagonal blades in center - sliding wooden square box fits into wooden slot along each side - white cotton string wrapped around dove-tailed box

Context

Cabbage shredder. Hand made by August Minske. Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Minske were pioneer Waseca County residents. Square holder attached to shredder platform had number 1045. See #1045. It is possible that 567 did not have square holder and 1045 was added to 567.
