Milk Churner-Dasher. Material: metal. Size: 25 1/2" L. Description: silver metal cupped disk pierced with five circular holes; long rod extends from center that bends into a handle at the top.

Context

Belonged to Anna Lange of Janesville. Milk was cooled in shallow pans and cream skimmed to make butter.
