Material: paper. (h) Doll. Size: 1 3/8" W. x 4 1/2" L. Description: multicolored paper figure - dark colored hair - long white stockings, black shoes, slip. Seven outfits and six hats: (a) pink and white nightgown with night cap. (b) Pink dress, white collar, white straw hat with pink rose. (c) Blue dress with white hat and blue ribbons. (d) Red and white checked skirt with white sweater. (e) Yellow dress with yellow hat, lace trim and flowers around crown. (f) Red coat with white hat with red trim. (g) White dress with pink sash and white lace hat with pink flower band and pink feather.

Context

Likely donated by Herbst sisters. Envelope addressed to Elaine Bowers, 190 17th St, Detroit, Mich. Information on envelope: a sister to Irene and Mayme. Believe this to be series of paper dolls. Toys & Games. "Lettie Lane's sister's wedding: The Flower Girls, published in the Ladies' Home Journal, March 1910, page 27.
