Black Skirt and Waist. Material: textile and metal. (a) Waist. Size: 14" W. x 16" L. Description: black fine wool serge with overall black woven geometric pattern. Long sleeves with turnup cuffs that reveal lace pattern underneath. Detachable high stand collar, yoke and flounce, and waistband, all in lace overlay backed in a soft blue-green silk. Bodice is structured with stays all around. (b) Skirt. Size: 12" W. across waistline x 35" L. Description: black wool embroidered serge - gores flare from waistline to hemline - wide black silk over-ruffle encircles lower skirt - back closure with hooks, eyes and snaps in waistline placket. (c.) Large, light blue-green detachable bow embellishes the yoke at the left-side opening, with the ties hanging to just above the waist.
