Description

(a) Blouse. Material: textile, shell. Size: 18" W. x 12" L. Description: cream cotton with orange trim - round neckline - Peter Pan collar edged with orange piping - long set in sleeves gathered to a 1 1/2" W. cuff trimmed with orange piping - closure with three white buttons in back neckline placket. (b) Jumper. Material: textile, plastic, shell. Size: 10" W. x 18 1/2" L. Description: orange cotton blend knit bodice - V-neckline outlined with white piping - vertical row of four white buttons extend from V-neckline to waistline - sleeveless - orange green, yellow, purple, white wool blend plaid skirt gathered to waistline - back waistline half-belt closes with two white buttons and buttonholes.

Context

Worn in 1974 by Amy Field, granddaughter of Mary Panzram Zeller. Orange vest fabric shedding "orange dust" material.
