Description

Material: textile, metal and pearl . Size: 9" W. at shoulder x 21 1/2" L. Color and description: pink and white cotton batiste - round neckline edged with 1/2" W. white lace trim - bodice gathered to dropped waistband - bodice trimmed with two pink 1 1/2" W. vertical "suspender" type bands that extend over each shoulder from front waistline to back waistline where each tapered end is edged with white lace and secured with two white buttons - long set-in sleeves are gathered to a banded cuff edged with white lace - skirt design of two 3 1/2" W. flounces - back closure with four snaps in a placket that extends from neckline to dropped waistline.

Luella Kapaun Roessler, born 1 December 1910, Waseca County. Parents William and Ida (Pfeifer) Kapaun. Married Louis Roessler, 10 June 1936. Attended Okaman School, Elysian School and graduated from Waterville High School in 1928. Lived in the Elysian area.
