Description

World War I Veterans Flag. Material: wood, textile, metal. Size: 9" W. x 12" L. (flag) attached to a 1/4" diameter x 19 1/2" L. dowel. Description: blue taffeta rectangle - gold silk fringe around three sides - center appliqued shield-shaped patch: blue cotton twill edged with yellow buttonhole stitch - yellow stitched border print: "U.S.A. Veterans Of World War I and two star graphics - center of shield: enbroidered red poppies with greenery - flag stapled to a black painted wooden dowel capped with a gold painted pointed wooden cap - gold silk cord with two tasseled ends tied around dowel top.
