16.25.25Description
Framed Poem from Atkinson Feed & Distributing Co., Waseca, Minn. Material: Glass, Paper, Metal. Size: 7"x6" Description: Framed image of a poem and flowers. The poem reads: Folks like you are nice to know/They gladden life a lot--/They hold a warm place in the heart/And they're oftentimes in thought;/They scatter cheer where'er they go/They're friendly, fine and true,/And this old world's a better place/Because of "Folks like You" ATKINSON FEED & DISTRIBUTING CO. Waseca, Minn.
The frame is glass wrapped on the edge in paper and may possibly have metal on the back edges. The image and backing are paper. Probably a promotional gift from the company.
A small photo (4 3/4"x3") is taped to the back; it would appear to be an image of the company building.Context
