Description

Tan Leather Woman's Glove. Material: leather, textile, shell, metal. Size: 4 1/4" W. x 12 1/2" L. Description: tan leather with three vertical rows of decorative stitching on back of hand; glove arm designed with a "V" pattern; 2 1/2" L. inner wrist placket; closure with one metal shanked brown pearl button; black stamp inside left glove: "6 EE, 13106, 673" and a label: "Field-Schlick, Saint Paul, L9 I06, $3.95"; black ink stamp nside the right glove: "5 3/4, U.S. PAT., SEPT. 1932."

Context

Woman's Accessories. Card with gloves says "One box of gloves. Six pair of kid gloves and one pair of cloth gloves from the 1930s and one pair of lace gloves from 1900. (Henry M. Gallagher estate.) Donated by Jams E. Gahler family."
