Description

White Kid Elbow Length Woman's Glove. (e, f) Material: leather, textile, shell, metal. Size: 4 7/8" x 27" L. Description: white kid elbow length with three vertical rows of decorative stitching on back of hand; glove arm designed with a "V" pattern; 4 1/4" L. inner wrist placket; closure with three metal shanked pearl beads; blue inked information: "5 3/4'' and "109" inside glove. (e,f) form one pair.

Context

Woman's Accessories. Card with gloves says "One box of gloves. Six pair of kid gloves and one pair of cloth gloves from the 1930s and one pair of lace gloves from 1900. (Henry M. Gallagher estate.) Donated by Jams E. Gahler family."
