Context

Dress brought in by Mary Jane Sathre after Margaret Savage Beach (1894- ) died. This dress worn by Margaret's grandmother. Margaret was born April 1894 in Janesville. The daughter of Thomas Savage. Mr. Savage lived on the east side of Lake Elysian. Unclear: Who is Mary Jane Sathre? Who was Margaret's grandmother and what was her maiden name (not Savage, so title isn't accurate)? Was it Margaret or her grandmother who was the daughter of Thomas Savage?
