Material: cast iron and wood. Size: 8 1/2" W. x 11" L. x 3" deep. Color and description: gray cast iron, long crank with wooden handle, "L.F.&C. New Britain, Conn. U.S.A. No.1 Universal Food Chopper" molded into the metal, "Pat. Oct. 12, 1897, Apr. 18, 1899, reissued Sept. 5, 1899 molded into the metal opposite the brand, "Universal Bread Crumber" molded into crank, screw for attaching to table, wing nut holds disk on a screw end at the grinder's outlet.
