Sunbonnet. Material: textile, paper. Size: 10" W. x 14" L. Description: black and white checked cotton gingham - close fitting cap with wide face brim - cardboard interfacing in brim.

Context

Made by Ruth Gutknecht in February of 1969. The pattern used is the same one used by donor's mother in the late 1800s and until 1915.
