Description

Fluting Iron. Material: metal. Size: 3 3/4" x 7 1/8" x 1/1/2" base. Description: cast iron and brass, base supports brass flutes; 2" diameter x 3" W. cast iron roller with brass flutes on outside; iron clamp attached to end of roller and attached to 6 3/4" L. brass tube handle. Solder repair on corner of clamp holding roller and on brass handle.

Context

Purchased at auction of Clara Schenk estate in Blue Earth County. Miss Schenk was born and lived 83 years on farm in Blue Earth County where auction was held 20 August 1960.
