Ball Jar. a) Jar. Material: glass. Size: 4 3/8" diameter x 8 3/4" H. x 2 1/4" mouth opening. Description: glass - raised letters on side: "Mason's Patent Nov 30 TM 1858 - raised cross emblem under the Mason's name - remnant of rubber ring used for sealing inside jar. b) Lid. Material: metal and glass. Size: 3" diameter. Lid has "Ball" in raised letters on its top - inner lid lined with glass disk.
