Husvennen Sewing Machine. Material: metal, wood. (a) Sewing machine. Size: 16 3/4" W. x 44 1/2" L. x 39" H. Description: blackened cast iron machine and treadle - gold decals stamped "Husvennen" (The Household Friend) - wooden "Decorah Posten" - three drawers on each side - one long wooden drawer in center with carved wood ornamentation. (b) Cover. Size: 18 1/2" L. x 11" H. Description: wooden case with Husvennen decal on side.
