Metal Mailbox. Material: metal. Size: 6" H. x 7 1/2" D. x 18 1/2" L. Description: silver metal; hinges at back; lid at top; print on left and right side: "65, R.R. 3"; print on front: "Knute Jameson."

Context

Mailbox attached to log cabin at Hodgson Hall. One of the first rural mailboxes used by the Knute Jameson family of Waseca. Box #65. First mail delivery started in 1900 or 1901.
