Description

Croix De Guerre World War I. Material: metal, textile. Size: 1 3/8" W. x 4 1/8" L. Description: Croix De Guerre ("Cross of War") awarded by the French Government; green and red striped ribbed ribbon with a bronze metal 5-pointed star on one side; suspended from ribbon: bronze iron cross with crossed sword design, a medallion with a female face and raised lettering: "Republique Francaise" and on reverse: "1914-1918"; tan string hanging loop at top.
