Description: (base) natural wood box - sliding lid - stamped black lettering on two sides: "Oswego 6 lbs. - Silver Gloss Starch - Manufactured by National Starch Co. Successors to T. Kingsford & Son. (Mill apparatus) dark finished wood - mounted on plain box - ornate metal top - iron grinding handle with wooden knob - white and red checked border paper along top edge of mill box - drawer in front - stamped in black letters on two sides of box: "Oswego 6 lbs. Silver Gloss Starch - Manufactured by National Starch Co. Successers To...T. Kingsford & Son" - paper label on front: "Kingsford's Oswego Starch - Silver Gloss Starch Manufactured by T. Kingsford & Son - Oswego, New York" - graphic: Indian woman in feathered headdress on one side of the logo and a pioneer farmer on the other side - loose piece of grinder inside base box.
