Janesvil-Lite School Newspaper Collection 1935-1937. Material: paper, plastic. Size: 9 1/4" x 11 1/4". Description: variously colored copy paper with black printed information; typewritten, mimeographed school newspapers produced by Janesville High School students 1935 through 1937; each page is enclosed in a vinyl sleeve; information includes the class of 1935 list of graduates, class flower, colors and motto; speeches of the valedictorian, Marcedus Kurzbein and the salutatorian, Mabel Ewert, class prophecy, will and history followed by monthly issues of class news and Janesville business advertisements; the first newspaper is entitled "The Comet" followed by seven issues of "The Janesvil-Lite.
