Regimental Newspaper 1865. Material: paper. Size: 8 1/2" W. x 11 7/8" L. Description: white newsprint paper entitled: "The 'Tenth Minnesota' " - single sheet - published in Meridian, Mississippi, dated 30 June 1865. Listed are the members, their rank, the dead and wounded, military movements, jokes. Regimental newspaper of the 10th Minnesota Infantry, June 30, 1865 of which Anthony J. O'Grady of Janesville was a member. Mr. O'Grady was a long time attorney in Janesville, Minnesota.

Context

Waseca County Military - Civil War. 10th Minnesota Regiment. The newspaper was sold for 10 cents per copy. It was written by "correspondents from our own and all other Minnesota Regiments."
