Material: textile. Size: (a) 20" W. x 21" L. (b) 12" W. at waist x 15" L. Description: aqua and white cotton. (a) Top. Gingham check pattern with cotton eyelet embroidery edging. Button back closing. Lined with white cotton. Sides and back open. Side opening 4 inches under arm with bow above opening. (b) Bottoms - bloomer style. Pattern and color same as (a). Unlined. Self ruffle around legs. Edging frayed (a). Bottom seam torn out (b).

Context

Worn by Sandra Panzram in the late 1960s. These are typical of sleepers sold at that time. Photograph is only of the pajama top.
