Description

Portrait of a Young Boy. Material: wood, metal, paper, textile. Size: 3 3/4" W. x 4 3/4" L. x 3/8" D. Description: shades of black and gray photographic image on metal under glass: young boy wearing long pants, long sleeved jacket, hair combed to one side, standing in a studio pose, arm leaning on a small round fringe clothed table - tintype encased wooden frame featuring a black paper top with an embossed design; metal clasps on side; faded red velvet lining with pressed pattern; ornate gold frame mount.

Ruth (b.1902, d.2 Nov 1995) and Esther (b.1892) Kanne were daughters of Ferdinand Kanne and Mathilda Bahr. Ruth married Edwy O Dibble; their children were: Edwy and Katherine. Esther married Roy John Hecht; their children were: Loren, Maurice, Ronald, Vida, Ardella(donor), and Verda.
