Context

Hodgson Collection. Prior to accessioning, the number 125 was printed in white ink on the bowl. Note from Hodgson's Smoke Rings book: "Leo (Mouse) Groebner brought this Jap pipe and ornate case home from Okinawa where he was stationed as a Sea Bee during World War II."
