Description

Frank Conway. 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" black and white photograph of Frank J. Conway; "born in Waseca County and with the exception of three years he spent in Canada, he has made his home in Waseca County. Frank graduated from Waseca High School in the class of 1908. During the years 1914 to 1917 he was associated with Henry M. Gallagher in the insurance and real estate business. It was in 1917 that he took over the business alone and through the years, he has built up the largest insurance business in the city of Waseca. He has been Secretary of the Waseca Savings and Loan Association for many years, a position he still holds. He is very public spirited and has served on several boards and committees during the years. I have had the pleasure of serving with him on many boards and committees and his motto has always been: "What is the best for Waseca, is the best for me." He is a member of the Knights of Columbus Lodge and has been Secretary of the Catholic Church since 1914. A good citizen and a man I am glad to have as a friend. January 25, 1945"

Context
