Clear Lake Drive. 5-1/2" x 3-1/2" hand-tinted color postcard photograph identified on the front as "A Pretty Drive Around Clear Lake, Waseca, Minn." Postmark over one-cent stamp on back is dated 20 Jul 1909 at Waseca, Minn., and addressed to Charles Nelson, Rapidan, Minn.

Context

Addressee is donor's father, Charles H. Nelson, amateur photographer, born in 1890 to Henry G. and Edna Nelson. After Henry died, Edna married Charles J. Johnson, father of Edgar, Everett & Marvin Johnson.
