Description: black and white photograph mounted on cardboard; a young woman with short and tightly curled hair is posed standing in a studio setting wearing dark floor length gown with leg o’mutton sleeves banded at the elbow with dark lace; the gown’s upper bodice is vertically shirred and features a shirred collar with two lace collar overlays; a wide horizontal band encircles waist; ruffles encircle skirt knee and hemline; she wears a ring on middle finger of left hand; next to her is an ornately carved wooden chair with floral patterned seat cushion seat and back rest.
