Heinrich and Dorothea Bierman. Material: paper. Size: 3 3/4" x 5 3/4". Description: black and white photograph of a couple identified as Heinrich (Henry F.) Bierman, 1816-1880; and, Dorothea (Dora) Trotz Bierman, 1842-1916. Backside says that A.S. Bagne was the photographer. The clothing style, birth dates here stated and lack of clarity in the photo indicates that this may be a photograph of a photograph. Bagne was a photographer in Waseca during the 1890s and turn of the century. This couple's age and dress indicate original photograph was likely taken around 1870.Context
