Description

Log Cabin quilt. Material: textile. Size: 68" W. x 77" L. Description: dark wool - solid and plaid fabric blocks sewn together to form design - tied with pink yarn - black with white print cotton backing.

Context

May be #643, made by Mrs. Frank McMahon in early 1900's. May also have been made by Sarah Hokanson about 1910. Mother of Otilia, Hilma, Carl, Emil & Albertine Hokanson (according to loose tags found with quilt). Pattern is called "Log Cabin."
