Description

Material: textile. Size: 81 1/2" W. x 93" L. Description: pastel rayon and satin - blocks attached to eacher with black featherstitching - pink backing and border - unbleached hanging muslin basted to back.

Context

Note with quilt reads "The quilt or spread was made by Mrs. Fred Laudert & given to me. It is right around 50-51 years old (in 1974). The rose colored pieces was material that was left from my wedding kimono. The log cabin (#4362) was made from small pieces left over & given to Gwendolyn (donor's daughter)." Pattern appears to be a variation of "Bow Tie" or "Axe Head."
