Ivory Handle Straight Edge Razor. a) Razor. Material: metal, ivory. Size: 3/4" W. x 9 1/2" L. x 3/8" D. Description: steel blade and tang; straight razor blade engraved: "The Metropolitan"; tang engraved: "Janney, Semple, Hill & Co., Minneapolis, Minn."; ivory colored carved design celluloid handle. (b) Case bottom. Straight Edge Razor. Material: paper. Size: 1 1/4" W. x 5 5/8" L. x 1/2" D. Description: maroon covered cardboard; metallic printing on one side: "Special". (c) Case top. Material: paper. Size: 1 1/4" W. x 5 3/4" L. x 5/8" D. Description: maroon cover with black printing on one side: "'Janney, Semple, Hill & Co., Minneapolis, Minn".
