Scope and Content

Material: paper. Size: 2 1/4" x 3 1/4". The image shows a green textured cover with the words "COMPLIMENTS OF THE AMERICAN RED CROSS" printed in capitalized, gold letters. Contents: displays a vintage pocket calendar from 1945 on the left. On subsequent pages there is an address book with handwritten entries. The first entry lists the name Doris Eddy with an address at "1356 London AVE. Wong Beach Calif," followed by blank lines for further details. Below, another entry is for Jean Forrest, with an address on "Verney St." in "West Rockhampton. The book was the property of Harold Radke and used to record addresses of those he met during his time in service.

Context

Harold Radke served in the 41st Division of the U.S. Army Infantry from 1941 to 1945.
