State St. (1924 - 1970s). Certificate states: "Northwestern University Evanston-Chicago on recommendation of the faculty of the dental school Northwestern University has conferred the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery on Wesley Harvey Rethwill who has honorably fulfilled all the requirements prescribed by the university for that degree done at Evanston this sixteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty four signed by the secretary of the board of trustees, secretary of the dental school, president of the university, and dean of the dental school."
