Description: black cast iron - metal cup attached to two long black handles - cup is pierced with many holes at bottom - one handle extends around cup on one end - flat metal tool at end of other handle - both handles molded with holes at top for hangers - handles hinged together near bottom - raising top handle pushes the flat tool end into the cup facilitating the processing of food or juice through the cup's sieve. Some rust and black paint is off handle in many places.Context
Purchased at auction of Clara Schenk estate in Blue Earth County. Miss Schenk was born and lived 83 years on farm in Blue Earth County where auction was held 20 August 1960. Could also be used as fruit press.Cataloged By
