Tea Leaf Saucer. Material: ceramic. Size: 6" diameter. Description: white ironstone; copper tea leaf design in center; copper stripe around edge; black trademark stamped on bottom: "Warranted Stone China, Mellor, Taylor & Co., England."

Context

Helen (Sally) (Conway) Forrest collected Tea Leaf Ironstone dishes for her husband Fredric Forrest. The dishes were to be a Christmas gift, but Fred passed away 5 November 1981.
