Description

Herter's Archery Set. Material: plastic, rubber, leather, feather, wood. (a) Bow. Size: 46" L. Description: tan wood front side with wooden inserts at grip; black reverse side; stamped on grip: "46# @ 28' 520168011"; circular tag on reverse: "Model Perfection 52 inch String Length 46 inch, Herter's Inc. Since 1893 Waseca, Minnesota"; attached to bow: green plastic arrow holder 13 1/2" L.; stamped: "Bear"; cupped bottom with seven rubber arrow rests; rubberized top notched to hold seven arrows in place. (b) Quiver. Size: 4 1/2" W. x 2 1/4" D. x 18 1/2" L. Description: light brown leather; dark brown straps and trim; oval shaped bottom; gold imprint: "Herter's Inc. Waseca, Minn. U.S.A."; oval shaped top. (c, d, e) Arrow. Size: 32 3/4" L. with metal hunting tips 2 3/4" L. Description: white plastic bowstring notches; one black and two yellow feathers on each arrow; tan arrow shafts; white at top; black band encircles band between upper tan and lower white areas; three fine black stripes on each side of wider black band; imprinted on shaft: "Herter's Farbenglas; H".
