Description

Five-piece Vanity Set. Material: celluloid. (a) Tray. Size: 6" W. x 9" L. x 1/2" H. Description: cream colored celluloid. (b) Pin holder. Size: 3" diameter x 3 1/2" H. Description: cream colored lidded cylinder for holding hairpins. (c) Hair keeper. Size: 2 3/4" diameter x 2 3/4" H. Description: cream colored lidded cylinder - hole in lid for inserting hair. (d) Container. Size: D: One small rectangle box with lid. Has small emery board inside. Good condition. 2 3/4" X 1" X 3/4". E: One Oval shaped container with nail buffer. Buffer has celluloid top and fits into base. In fair condition. . Buffer very worn in the middle. 4 1/2" X 1".

Used by Margaret Berg (Mrs. C.A.) who received the set as a gift in 1912. Donated by her daughter.
