Description

Wood Burning Range. Material: metal. Size: 36 1/2" W. x 30 3/4" H. x 28 1/2" deep. Description: black cast iron box - solid steel top with six burners - large pull-down oven door on right side - stamped on door: "The Malleable South Bend" - printed on bottom door "The Malleable Steel Range Mfg. Co. South Bend IND USA" - two small doors on left side for stoking and ash removal - left side tool compartment with hinged top.

Context

The solid base of the stove features an ash removal door and storage space for pots and pans. Draft controls are located on the fire box door. The large oven features the original oven rack crafted into the solid cast iron grating. Six cook lids
