Gas Street Lamp. Material: metal, glass. Size: 12" W. at top x 86" H. x 16" base diameter. Description: black cast iron light pole and base - glass lampshade at top protects inside gas mantle and burner - black cast iron top - on pole: "Patented June 9, 74, Jan 14, 79, Aug 26, 79, June 29, 80."

Context

Waseca County Historical Society Board of Directors Meeting Minutes from April 1, 1946 state that a kerosene street lamp used in Waseca over 50 years ago was donated by a Mr. Rudoplph of New Richland.
