Wire Fence Stretcher. Material: wood, metal. Size: 3" H. x 47 1/2" L. Description: two wooden boards clamped together with seven adjustable bolts.

Context

Donated by University of Minnesota, Waseca, Southeast Experiment Station, Richard C. Anderson, Supt. This wire fence stretcher was used at the University of Minnesota, Waseca, Southeast Experiment Station. By inserting the end of a wire fence between the two boards and clamping them together, the fence can be pulled and straightened by horse team or tractor pulling all together in a vertical line. On loan to Farmamerica as of 2010.
