Description: steel blade - raised markings include: "U.S."and an eagle - metal hilt - right-handed ribbed grip wrapped with gold wire - ornate knuckle bow - army emblems on ricasso. (b) Sheath. Material: metal. Size: 3" W. x 31 3/8" L. x 5/8" deep. Description: metal, ornate gold tip capmarked with army emblems and two ornate bands. Dented.

Thought to be a West Pointer's graduation dress sword.
