Description: aluminum kettle - turned wooden handle with metal ends loops over and attaches lid - lid attached at base of handle - lid slides off top of kettle - open spout extends from one side - stamped on bottom: "Battle Ship Extra Heavy East Aluminum Ware" "A 56 s."

Context

Used in 1924 in Ruth Gutknecht's parent's home.
