Description: brown paper over wood - metal reinforcement around cover opening, corners, and edges - two metal hinges for top opening - metal clasp and face plate - metal rivets hold straps in place - leather closure straps across top fasten at lower front (portions missing) - paper lined - inside label: "The Pettibone Mfg. Co. Manufacturers of Regalias, Supplies,and Costumes For All Secret Societies. Military and Band Uniforms and Equipments. 268, 270, 272 and 274 Main Street, Cincinnati, Ohio" and black ink illustration of the Pettibone Company Building - one wooden inside vertical divider forms narrow compartment on right side - two leather straps for stabilizing contents.
