U.S. Military Uniform - olive green wool tam o'shanter style cap; 10 1/4' diameter x 3/8'D; crown is round & flat, underneath it there are 2 metal eyelets for air circulation on each side; no brim but sides are straight up & down & olive green ribbed wide trim all around over the wool; worn like a sailor's cap; inside cap the crown is lined with reddish brown plastic for rain proofing; white label with black printing inside reads 'COVER CAP, SERVICE, WOOL SERGE 18 OZ. - O.D. 33, Size 7, COLUMBIA UNIFORM CAP CO. Q.M. #2730 - JUNE 29, 1946, SPEC. P.Q.D. No. 595, STOCK No. 73-C-68212'
