Description

Simon Connelly Police Uniform. Material: textile, metal. Size: 18 3/4" W. x 31 1/2" L. x 25" L. sleeves. Description: black and gray wool serge - suit jacket style - notched collar forms lapels - front closure with three gold colored buttons stamped "P" encircled with a wreath - shoulder epaulets fasten with one silver button each - one pocket at upper left jacket - two slash pockets at lower front - two pockets inside jacket - label on right inside: "McCluskey Clothes Shop St. Paul" - label on left inside pocket has manufacturer's guarantee and name: "Weintraub Bros. & Co."

Waseca City Police Services. Part of a uniform worn by donor's father, Simon Connelly who was a policeman in Waseca for 25 1/2 years & served as Chief of Police for 10 years.
